Diwali Celebration

At Mazzarello Youth Centre, basement, Wadala, we the Management, Staff and Students of Auxilium Skills Academy organized the Diwali programme and celebrated it with much enthusiasm.  There were more than 45 people comprising of Community Sisters, Youth and Staff were present for the celebration. The theme for the event was “Let Your Light Shine”. Sr. Kalyani Subramanium (Teacher – Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala and Parish Youth In charge) was the chief guest for the programme. Ms. Reena Naidu (Mobilizer) welcomed everyone. A prayer moment was organized invoking God’s presence by reading a passage from Bhagavad-Gita.  which Sr Kalyani, Sr Manisha, Mr James and a youth lit the lamp, each wick representing warmth, happiness, joy, bonding. Later, sharing the diyas with values such as peace, joy, tolerance, love, warmth, etc was the highlight of the event. Mrs Rosemary Daniel (Centre Manager) proposed the vote of thanks and snacks were distributed towards the end.
