This year’s celebration was not just symbolic — it was action-driven. From community clean-up drives to interactive awareness sessions on sustainable waste management, our volunteers and partner communities came together to make an impact at the grassroots. Activities focused especially on amplifying the voices of marginalized and underprivileged communities, ensuring that their environmental challenges are heard, addressed, and acted upon.

As part of the celebration, Nisarg Mitra also initiated a series of micro-actions in urban slums and informal settlements — promoting eco-friendly alternatives, distributing hygiene kits, and conducting environmental education programs for children and youth.
