On 28th June at 4:30 pm the inauguration of the Dahanu Centre commenced with a prayer and the traditional lighting of the lamp. A welcome note was delivered by the Centre Head, followed by the honouring of Mr. Shaji Fernandez as Guest of Honour and the felicitation of Sr. Rosaline Pereira as Chief Guest. The program included an introduction to the courses by Cluster Manager Christina Rozario, a brief interaction with the attending students by the CEO of ASA Sr Rosaline Pereira, and concluded with a vote of thanks and a light refreshment session for the students.. Also present for the event were Rev. Fr. Richard Rosario, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Dolours Church, who motivated the students with his encouraging words. Mr Ajay Fernandes, a member of the Parish Pastoral Council, was also present who promised to help our Tailoring students in gaining employment. Around 53 out of the 66 students participated in the inauguration.



The entire Staff of ASA Dahanu Centre Head Sr Assumption Gonsalves, Centre Supervisor cum Tally Trainer – Sr Gloria Langi, Centre Co-ordinator cum English & Life Skills Trainer– Mr. Gaurav Aher, Mobiliser cum Placement Officer– Mr. Tofik Shaikh, Tailoring Trainer – Ms. Ritika Patil were instrumental in making the Inauguration function a success.
